As a Swim Instructor, you'll teach students of all ages and skill levels in a positive, encouraging environment. No previous teaching experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive paid training to help you become a confident and successful instructor.
What You'll Do
- Teach swim lessons to children of all ages and abilities, from Babies & Me classes through advanced swim levels.
- Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment where students build confidence in the water.
- Follow the Small Fish Big Fish Swim School teaching philosophy and training methods.
- Demonstrate and assist students with proper swimming techniques, including safely lifting and supporting young swimmers when needed.
- Promote water safety and help prevent accidents by maintaining a safe, supervised environment.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and families.
- Administer first aid when necessary.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pool facility.
- Assist with special events, community outreach, and water safety education.

Schedule Requirements
Qualified applicants must be available to work:
- A minimum of two weekday shifts (3:45 PM – 7:30 PM)
- A minimum of one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Your schedule remains consistent from week to week, making it easy to plan around school or other commitments.
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay: $14.00 per hour, based on qualifications, following paid training.
- Paid training — no prior experience required.

Compensation: $14.00 per hour
